Havre Police Department

Robert Allen Bradford III of Box Elder, 25, was arrested on charges of assault, with minor injuries, and probation violation and on three Justice or City court warrants, after a 7:45 a.m. Tuesday caller on First Street Northeast said officers should check on an apartment and a 7:58 a.m. caller at the hospital reported a friend had been assaulted. Two other arrests were made in relation to the incident, but no information was provided.

A two-vehicle, noninjury crash was reported at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday at 16th Street and Fifth Avenue.

Someone at the police station reported Tuesday at 2:53 p.m. a sexual or violent offender registration violation.

Douglas James Habeger of Havre, 38, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a probation and parole officer requested at 4:06 p.m. Tuesday an officer for a woman involved in a domestic disturbance.

A caller at a First Street business reported at 4:26 p.m. Tuesday a theft that happened about 1 p.m.

Cara Elise Longknife of Dodson, 29, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a theft was reported at 7:06 p.m. Tuesday at a First Street business.

A caller on Sunset Drive reported at 8:48 p.m. Tuesday that a window had been broken out with a rock sometime with the previous 24 hours.

Geoffrey Richard Hannie of Havre, 38, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Tuesday at 9:29 p.m. on 17th Street West.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A Fourth Street North caller Tuesday at 1:09 p.m. reported a theft, forgery or fraud.

A caller on South Road in Rudyard reported a stolen four-wheeler Tuesday at 9:51 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to a call about a gas leak and remained on standby as NorthWestern Energy found and fixed a gas lead at a decorative fireplace.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held two medium-hair cats with sex listed as “unknown,” three medium-hair female cats, three medium-hair male cats, two female short-hair cats and one female long-hair cat.

The shelter also held this morning a 22-week-old male American Staffordshire Terrier, a 1-year-old female Corgi-border collie mix-breed, a 4-year-1-month-old female German shepherd-Labrador retriever cross, a 4-year-old female border terrier-terrier cross, a 1-year-3-month-old male Labrador retriever-Boston terrier cross, and a 17-week-old male Australian shepherd.
