Local Golf Report: Tourney season gets underway

June is coming, and that means the local golf season is in full swing. And that includes the tournament schedule.

This Saturday marks the true beginning of tournament season, with big events at both Prairie Farms Golf Course, and Beaver Creek Golf Course. At Prairie Farms, the annual Golfing For a Cure Tournament will be held. The event is a cancer awareness fundraiser and has become one of the most popular and special events on the local golf calendar.
