Art in the Garden Tour set for July 1

Press release

The Havre Art Association has announced it is again hosting The Art in the Garden Tour, set for Sunday, July 1, from 1 to 4 p.m.

Four gardens will be featured, with artwork by members of the Havre Art Association, placed for sale among the gardens. This year’s tour features gardens with a waterfall into a pond, a creative container garden-landscape with surprising re-purposed items tucked in and around, a vegetable garden with a vineyard within a flower garden, a zero landscaping garden to help conserve water and attract birds, and a garden with wonderful color contrasts and textures.

One ticket will be drawn at the end of the day and the winner will get to select a free piece of artwork from a special section of artwork at one of the gardens. Free refreshments will be available with your ticket. All proceeds go back into the community for scholarships, education and enhancing other art projects in Havre.

The Bullhook Bottoms Garden Club volunteers will be assisting and available for any garden questions that may come to mind.

Tickets are $5 each and are available downtown at Cavaliers for Men & Women Store, 321 Third St., at Artitudes Gallery or at High Plains Gallery & Frame Shop, both located in the Atrium Mall, and at each garden the day of the show. For more information, call Mary Nault 262-4786 or Becky Ross 265-4723.
