Six-Man football's Team USA still full of Montana's best

The USA team, which includes 12 Montana players, was in Havre Tuesday and Wednesday for practice, before heading north to Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, for the 2018 Can-Am Six-Man All-Star Game. The game will be played Saturday night. In the past, several area players, including recently from North Star High School, have been selected to play in the game, and while this year's roster doesn't include any Hi-Line players, it does feature Sunburst's Treyton Pickering, who will play for Montana State.

Six-Man football is a big deal around these parts. And it was earlier this week at the Montana State University-Northern practice fields.

The Team USA Six-Man squad stopped in Havre for two days of practice before heading off to Kerrobert, Saskatchewan, for the 2018 Can-Am All-Star Game. The game will be played Saturday at 5 p.m.

Of course, Montana has the second-most Six-Man football playing schools in the U.S., only behind Texas, so it's fitting that, a handful of players and coaches from Montana are making up the roster for this weekend's game.
