Obituary - Kermitt J. Corcoran

Kermitt J. Corcoran, 63, passed away on July 18, 2018 at Northern Montana Hospital surrounded by his children.

His wake began at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018, and continues through today, Friday, July 20, 2018. His funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018, all at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rocky Boy. Burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery on Laredo Road in Rocky Boy.

Kermitt was born January 22, 1955 to Joe and Cecelia Corcoran in Fort Belknap, MT. He attended school in Box Elder and Havre. He joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1980.

When he returned from the service, Kermitt worked in the construction industry as a carpenter. He enjoyed reading his Bible, daily prayer and watching TV.

Kermitt is survived by his common-law wife, Angela Eagleman of Havre; his daughters, Roberta Corcoran, Lacy Russette, Chrystal Corcoran, Celestine Plante, and Josephine Morsette; his sons, Anthony, Austin, Adrian, and Paul Corcoran; his sisters Lou Ann Belcourt, Leota Standing Bear, and Linda Belcourt and Mertile Belcourt; brothers Robert Belcourt, Sonny Belcourt, John Corcoran, and Merle Belcourt; also 21 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Cecelia Parker Corcoran; father, Joe Corcoran, Margaret "Peggy" Nagel, Tammi Frost, Elsie Geboe, Gerald Belcourt, Levi Belcourt Jr., Duane Belcourt, Bert Corcoran, Robert Corcoran, William "Corky" Corcoran and Florence Gourley.
