Havre Police Department

Casey Owen Mummey of Havre, 37, was arrested on a pick up and hold order served on First Street West at 12:07 p.m. Monday.

A caller at a First Street business reported at 1:09 p.m. Monday that a man stole two beers.

--

Gene William Liese of Fort Belknap, 30, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and probation violation and on a state District Court warrant, after a Second Street caller reported Monday at 1:52 p.m. a man and woman were fighting.

A McKinley Avenue caller reported at 3:01 p.m. Monday that her vehicle had been broken into and money and alcohol stolen.

--

A Grant Avenue caller reported a stolen gun Monday at 5:14 p.m.

--

Travis Kyle Wilson of Havre, 28, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, criminal destruction of a communication device and criminal mischief, following a Monday 3:43 p.m. report of a disturbance on Second Street. Dispatch received requests for help at the hospital at 6:48 p.m. and 7:36 p.m. while medical personnel were treating a man connected to this arrest.

A Lincoln Avenue caller reported finding a set of keys at 4:52 p.m. Monday.

--

A caller reported someone backed a vehicle into and damaged a pole at a First Street West establishment Monday at 7:06 p.m.

--

Two callers on Third Avenue reported at 12:32 a.m. today hearing a loud noise, possibly a firework.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller reported at 10:14 a.m. Monday that a garbage truck lost a garbage bin on U.S. Highway 2 East.

Colten Lee Shambo of Hays, 27, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants at Hill County Detention Center Monday at 7:25 p.m.

--

A Fifth Street North caller reported Monday at 10:21 p.m. a custody violation.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Monday.

--

Firefighters responded to two calls Monday: a damaged power pole on the 200 Block of First Street West at 7:09 p.m. and a fire alarm on the 500 Block of First Avenue at 8:18 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held one medium-hair cat with sex listed as "unknown," three medium-hair male cats, one male long-hair cat and five female short-hair cats.

The shelter also held this morning a 2-year-old female hound, a 2-year-old female pit bull terrier-German shepherd cross, a 13-week-old male shepherd, 1-year-old male spaniel-pit bull terrier cross, a 26-week-old Labrador retriever-mastiff cross, a 2-year-old male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross, a 9-month-old female pit bull terrier and a 3-year-1-month-old male Labrador retriever.

Births

A girl was born Monday, July 23, 2018, to Kaci and Mike Hipple of Havre.
