Gary Joe Evans will be pitching for one of the two local teams in this weekend's Montana Men's ASA State Fastpitch Softball Tournament. The tourney will feature two Havre teams and also several teams from Missoula. The actions begins Saturday and runs through Sunday afternoon at the Sixth Avenue Memorial Field.
As Havre sports fans wait for the fall sports season, which is right around the corner, they can satisfy their need for athletic competition this weekend at the Sixth Avenue Memorial Field, with Havre hosting the Montana Men's Fastpitch state tournament.
The state tournament will feature a total of six teams, including two from Havre. Three of the four others team in attendance will be from Missoula, with another team coming to compete from Plentywood.
