Havre attends its seventh National Night Out

Ethan Holt, 3, gets excited Tuesday as he sees Sparky the Fire Dog of Havre Fire Department during Havre's National Night Out on the lawn of Montana State University-Northern's Student Union Building's lawn.

Families came together on Montana State University-Northern's Student Union Building lawn Tuesday evening for the Havre Police Department's seventh National Night Out event.

As local band Blind Luck covered songs by the likes of the Blues Brothers and Chuck Berry, kids and adults lined up for pulled-pork sandwiches. Other lines formed to explore a helicopter and several police and fire department vehicles, as well to take part in the dunking booth and a game put on by Hill County Search and Rescue.
