Outdoors: IT'S BACK: Smoke, fires return to Montana

Here we go again.

For the first part of the summer, it looked as though Montana was going to catch a break when it came to wildfires. In the last week, though, that hope has faded.

While several fires were already burning, mostly in extreme northwest and in southwestern Montana, fires again caught everyone's attention Sunday when the Howe Ridge Fire inside Glacier National Park exploded, and in its wake, destroyed most of historic Kelly's Camp.
