Pony boys, Teagan Fee claim top honors at Browning Invite

The Havre High varsity golf teams pose for a photo at the East Glacier Golf Course outside of Browning Saturday. The Blue Ponies had a strong day at the Browning Invitational. The Blue Pony boys finished first in the team title race, while Teagan Fee won her second straight girls tourney.

For the third time in a week, the Havre High boys and girls golf teams were on the course for a tough, varsity tournament. Saturday, the Blue Ponies were in East Glacier for the 2018 Browning Invitational, and they had a good 18 holes, no doubt.

The Havre boys finished in first place at the Browning Invite with a team score of 369. Two Ponies also posted Top-5 finishes, led by Caleb Chambliss’ 84. Chambliss finished in third place, while Nolan Lotton shot 87 to place fourth. Josh Warp shot 98 for the Ponies, while Eli Cloninger shot 100 and Tyrel Kjersem finished with a 106.
