Learn more about Relay for Life at Sept. 17 meeting in Chinook

Press release

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity and is one of the largest community fundraisers in the world. It is a unique event that offers everyone in the community the opportunity to celebrate cancer survivors, remember those lost to cancer, and fight back against this terrible disease.

Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.

Because Relay For Life is a community event, anyone and everyone is encouraged to participate. Teams are formed from businesses, clubs, families, friends, hospitals, churches, schools and service organizations.

To learn more about how to become involved with Relay For Life, people can come to the next meeting Monday, Sept. 17, 6 p.m., at the Chinook Eagles.
