Pony netters best Rangers, reach Windy City Classic title match

The Havre High volleyball team went on the road this past weekend and did something it was unable to do all last season — win a Central A conference game.

And in order to get that elusive conference win, the Blue Ponies rallied from a 2-0 deficit, winning three straight sets to down Livingston Friday in Belgrade by scores of 13-25, 17-25, 25-18, 25-19 and 15-10.

“It was great,” HHS head coach Tamecia Jarvis said. “They stuck together and they kept fighting, and that’s what can happen when we play together like we are supposed to.”
