Smith talks ag and conservation on Montana Ag Live

Larry Smith, long-time Phillips County rancher will be the featured guest on Montana Ag Live Sunday..

The topic he and others will address is how agriculture and conservation can coexist for the benefit of both. Larry and his wife, Michelle, have endured the highs and lows of production on the Hi-Line for four generations and have recently incorporated conservation programs into their production system which has benefited their operation.

Others joining Larry on the panel include Josh Schrecengost, biologist with the Natural Resource Conservation Service, Greg Neudecker, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Montana Partners for Fish and Wildlife program, and Robert Sanders, Ducks Unlimited Manager of Conservation Programs for Montana.

Montana Ag Live airs Sunday evening 6 p.m. The program is a question and answer format so anyone with questions concerning the topic can phone in the question which will be answered on the air.
