Havre Festival Days with events all day around Havre.

Friends of the Havre-Hill County Library Book Sale, 8 a.m - 8 p.m. Bag of used books $1, and several silent auction items to bid on.

Fill the Boot campaign for Muscular Dystrophy Association with Havre firefighters, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., on First Street at the Third and Fourth avenue intersections.

Saturday, Sept. 22

Havre Festival Days with events all day around Havre. Parade starts at 10 a.m. on 5th Avenue.

Diabetes Awareness 10 mi. Bike Ride, 8:30 a.m. registration, 9 a.m. start, Bear Paw Ski Bowl, ends at Eagles Campground in Beaver Creek Park with lunch. Entire event is free and open to everyone. For info call Lisa, 395-1676, or Terrie, 395-1675.

WANTO, Women in Apprenticeship and Non-Traditional Occupations, One-Day Workshop, 9:20 a.m. - 3 p.m., Brockman Hall, MSU-Northern campus. Limited number of spots in this free workshop, register at http://www.ctibrc.org or by calling Lorren Schlotfeldt, 265-3567.

VFW Bear Paw Junior Rifle Club registration, 6 - 9 p.m., shooting range in the basement below the Havre Fire Department, 520 4th St. This session is for 10- to 20-year-olds to sign up for practice slots for the upcoming season, which starts Oct. 1.

Saturday, Sept. 29

United Way of Hill County Crab Boil, 5 p.m., Beaver Creek Golf Course. The fundraising event starts with cocktails, followed by dinner, and includes music along with silent and live auctions.

The Blessed to Bless NOW fundraiser for families in need, 6 p.m., HRDC Fireside Room, 2229 Fifth Ave. Tickets are $25 or $100 for five in advance or $30 each at the door, plus a nonperishable item for the Havre Food Bank.

Woofstock 2018, a fundraiser for Friends of the Havre Animal Shelter, 2 - 6 p.m., Pepin Park, with live music and vendors at this dog- and family-friendly event.

Friends of the Upper Missouri River Breaks Monument presentation about the monument,6 p.m., Havre-Hill County Library. The free presentations usually last a little more than a half-hour and will also cover historical significance and how people can experience the monument.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.

HPS Education Foundation hosting the annual HOLIDAY HOOPS Blue Pony alumni basketball games on Friday December 27th at the Havre Middle School. First game at 6:30pm. Players contact Tony at 390-6178 or Grayson at Master Sports. Fun for the whole family!
