Grandcares program offered in Havre

Family Connections, in collaboration with Montana State University’s Hill County Extension, will be presenting Grandcares at District 4 Human Resources Development Council in Havre beginning Oct. 2.

The free, six-week strengths-based workshop series will provide information for grandparents, kinship caregivers and child care providers on taking better care of themselves; reducing stress; caregiver guilt, anger and depression; communicating effectively; and setting goals and problem solving.

The dates for the workshops are Oct, 2, 9, 16 and Nov. 7, 14, and 20.
