Commission seeking nominations to take Boucher's place as district judge Havre Daily News staff

State District Judge Dan Boucher. The state Judicial Nominations Commission announced it is looking for applicants to take the place of Boucher, who announced he is retiring Nov. 9, as the judge in the 12th Judicial District in Chouteau, Hill and Liberty counties.

The Montana Supreme Court has announced it is looking for nominations to fill a state judge position in north-central Montana.

State District Judge Dan Boucher submitted his letter of resignation Sept. 7, effective Nov. 9, three days after the nonpartisan election for the seat, in which Boucher is the sole candidate.

According to a release sent out today from the Judicial Nomination Commission, Supreme Court Chief Justice Mike McGrath has notified the sommission that Boucher, district judge for the Twelfth Judicial District in Chouteau, Hill, and Liberty is resigni...
