VFW Bear Paw Junior Rifle Club about to start season

The VFW Junior Rifle Club is starting its next season Oct. 1, and is inviting youths interested in learning firearm safety and marksmanship to come in next Friday to learn about the club.

The club has been operating in Havre for more than 60 years, and practices in the shooting range below the Havre Fire Department at 520 Fourth St. Mondays and Tuesdays from 6 to 9 p.m.

Shooters can sign up for different slots on those nights, with returning club members getting first choice on the slots
