Havre Police Department

An 18th Street caller asked for assistance from an officer on a disturbance Wednesday at 6 a.m.

Someone stopped at the police station Wednesday at 3:42 p.m. to report damage to a vehicle.

James Curtis Alexander of Havre, 41, was arrested on charges of speeding and driving under the influence and George Richard Belcourt of Havre, 41, was issued a summons on a charge of open container, during a vehicle stop on First Street Wednesday at 10:25 p.m.

Jase Michael Carrywater of Havre, 26, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after he called to reported a domestic disturbance at 3:22 this morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A stolen ladder was reported from Second Street North at 7:34 a.m. Wednesday.

Kaleb Emanuel Freyholtz of Havre, 28, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop on Second Street West Wednesday at 1:33 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to a call on the 3500 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday and a call on the 800 Block of Fourth Street at 4:12 p.m. Wednesday, but no one was available to provide further details.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held an 8-month-old male domestic short-hair kitten, a female 10-week-old medium-hair kitten, a 2-year-1-month-old female medium-hair cat, two 16-week-old male medium-hair kittens, a 2-year-old male short-hair cat and a 7-month-old male medium-hair kitten.

The shelter this morning also held one male and one female 16-week-old German shepherd-Rottweiler cross puppies, a male 1-year-7-month-old German shepherd, a female 2-year-2-month-old pit bull-terrier-German shepherd cross dog, a male 2-year-1-month-old Pekingese-Dachshund cross dog, a female 8-month-old terrier puppy, a 7-month-old female mixed-breed puppy, a 9-month-old female mixed-breed puppy and a 1-year-11-month-old female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd cross dog, along with seven puppies not yet available for adoption: five male and one female 6-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a 6-week-old male pit bull terrier cross puppy.

A girl was born Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, to Helen B. and Ron E. Waldner of Havre.
