Missouri River Breaks monument presentation set for Tuesday

Friends of the Missouri Breaks Monument are inviting people to the Havre-Hill County Library Tuesday at 6 p.m. for a free presentation on the history and significance of a treasure in Havre’s backyard.

The Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument is a stunning area along a 149-mile stretch of the Missouri River. Rich in ecological and cultural history, the Monument is also a prime destination for outdoor recreational activities, including boating, kayaking, hunting, hiking and camping.
