Letter to the Editor - Tell senators to oppose Kavanaugh

Just two days after my son was born, we found out that he had a potentially fatal heart defect. At 4-months-old we took him to have a procedure done on one of the valves on his heart. The valve will have to be replaced again, eventually.

Luckily, thanks to Montana’s Medicaid we have access to good doctors and annual check-ups that are affordable. Currently, I have some security in knowing that when the time comes to replace the valve, we can do it and he will live. The thought of losing protections for people with pre-existing conditions terrifies me. If the Affordable Care...
