Havre Police Department

A caller Friday at 9:06 a.m. asked officers to investigate suspicious activity at Hill County Courthouse.

A caller asked Friday at 12:57 p.m. to have a man removed from a First Street business.

A caller at a First Street business reported a found credit card Friday at 2:13 p.m.

--

Raesha Renaye Frost of Harlem, 22, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at a First Street West business at 11:55 p.m. Friday.

--

A First Street caller reported Saturday at 1:23 a.m. that a teenager had not come home yet.

--

Saturday at 11:39 a.m. a caller on Fourth Street reported her tires had been slashed.

--

Kenneth Delbert Chamberlain of Havre, 54, was issued a summons on a theft charge after a caller on First Ave reported Saturday at 4:16 p.m. finding his roofing nailer at a pawn shop.

An 11th Street West caller reported Saturday at 10:04 p.m. a customer drove off without paying for $63.37 in gas.

--

A caller reported Sunday at 12:31 a.m. his daughter's vehicle windows were smashed out on First Street.

--

Hill County Sheriff's Office requested Sunday at 4:38 a.m. assistance finding a boy in the north-side area. The incident turned out to be a boy playing a joke on his father.

A caller on Second Street reported Sunday at 5:23 a.m. reported someone had taken the screen off her kitchen window, entered her residence and left through the front door.

--

Travis Kyle Wilson of Havre, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant Sunday at 11:15 a.m. on Second Street.

--

A caller reported Sunday at 1:50 p.m. that a possibly dead deer was lying on the Havre Middle School grounds and Havre Public Works was notified.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Sunday at 6:01 p.m. to talk to an officer about violations of a no contact order.

--

Sunday at 6:42 p.m. a Fourth Street caller reported a man trying to hit cars on his bike. Officers searched for the bicyclist but were unable to locate him.

--

A 7:06 p.m. Sunday caller at a First Street West establishment reported hearing gun shots. The call was referred to the Sheriff's Office. The sound turned out to be fireworks.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, four calls Saturday and two calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a car fire at 2:36 p.m. on the 3400 Block of 13th Street West. Firefighters put out the fire, but the entire engine compartment had burned and the car was a total loss. It appeared that the fire was caused by an issue with a battery charger hooked up to the car's battery.

Firefighters responded to a 3:10 p.m. report of a fire on the 1500 Block of Smithville Road. Someone was burning debris, and they were asked to put out the fire. Burning of debris is not allowed within city limits.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats and a Himalayan cat of unknown gender, an 8-month-old male short-hair kitten, a male 18-week-old medium-hair kitten, two female medium-hair cats, a male short-hair cat and a 7-month-old male medium-hair kitten.

The shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male German shepherd dog, a female pit bull-terrier-German shepherd dog, a female terrier 9-month-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd dog, along with four puppies: three male 7-week-old mixed-breed puppies and a 7-week-old male pit bull terrier cross.

Births

A boy was born Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, to Belinda Horn and Spencer Cochran of Fort Belknap.
