One week is all that stands between Hi-Line volleyball teams and postseason play. And that’s why last week was such a big one for high school volleyball.
The action started with a huge District 6C East match in Gildford last Thursday night between the top two teams in the league. And the visiting Chinook Sugarbeeters came away with a 25-21, 26-24, 26-24 win at North Star. The win cemented first place for the Beeters, who got a huge 20 kills and six blocks from Kourtney Hanson. Olivia King had 10 kills and Paij Peterson tallied 14 assists and two aces for the Knights.
