Havre Police Department

Officers at 5:20 p.m. Wednesday investigated a car-motorcycle crash on First Street.

After receiving a call at 8:32 p.m. from First Street West in which the caller said a person went into a casino and left two young children in a vehicle, officers issued a summons to Leonie Candace Webb of Dodson, 53, on a charge of endangering the welfare of children.

After a caller from First Street West at 1:56 this morning reported a disturbance outside of an establishment, officers issued a summons to Jazmine Kiana Pewitt of Havre, 21, on a charge of assault.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A deputy at 2:48 p.m. Wednesday served a state District Court warrant to Kaleb Steven Dobrenz of Havre, 22, at the Hill County Detention Center.

After receiving a call from Rudyard at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, deputies arrested David Richard Place of Rudyard, 50, on charges of partner or family member assault and tampering with or destroying a communication device.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Wednesday and two calls this morning before 8 a.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one Himalayan, one long-hair, five medium-hair and one short-hair cats and a short-hair 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, a male and a female 9-month-old short-hair kittens, a female medium-hair cat, a male 19-week-old medium-hair kitten and a 7-month-old male medium-hair kitten, as well as six 4-week-old kittens being fostered until ready for adoption.

The shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male German shepherd dog, a female pit bull-terrier-German shepherd dog, a male shepherd 21-week-old puppy, A female German Shepherd-Bernese Mountain dog 7-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy, a male boxer dog, a male border collie-Chihuahua 16-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy and a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-German shepherd dog, as well as three puppies: two male mixed-breed 9-week-old puppies and a male pit bull terrier cross 9-week-old puppy.
