Havre Police Department

Tuesday at 10:05 a.m. officers assisted Columbus Police Department with a photo lineup.

A Sixth Avenue caller at 4:48 p.m. Tuesday reported a purse was stolen.

A caller on Sixth Street asked Tuesday at 4:58 p.m. for officer assistance for a well-being check on her son.

Joseph Elliott Anderson of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on a charge of criminal mischief after a First Street Northeast caller reported Tuesday at 10:47 p.m. a man broke his living room window.

Extra patrols were requested at 12:33 a.m. today by a caller at a Ninth Avenue business.

--

A caller at a Ninth Avenue business reported at 1:04 a.m. today his cellphone was stolen.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller at 2:50 p.m. Tuesday reported finding property left at the shooting range.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday and two calls today.

Firefighters responded to a report of a gas smell near a meter on the 300 Block of Third Avenue, but no odor was detected. NorthWestern Energy was called and the scene turned over to their crews.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one Himalayan, one medium-hair and one short-hair cats and a short-hair 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender and a female medium-hair cat, as well as six 4-week-old kittens being fostered until ready for adoption. Another 10 cats and a 26-week-old kitten, all of unknown gender, were listed separately as being held in the shelter.

The shelter this morning also held a male German shepherd dog, a female pit bull-terrier-German shepherd dog, a male shepherd 22-week-old puppy, a female German shepherd-Bernese mountain dog 8-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 8-month-old puppy, a female mixed-breed dog and a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy.
