Lights begin the season ranked third

The Montana State University-Northern wrestling team is ranked No. 3 in the NAIA preseason coaches poll, released Wednesday afternoon. Northern also has nine nationally-ranked wrestlers, including Matt Weber ranked No. 1 at 141 pounds and Andrew Bartel ranked No. 1 at 165. Brandon Weber is also ranked No. 2 at 157, while Isaac Bartel is No. 2 at 197 and Chris Nile is fourth at 174. Also ranked for the Lights is Nick Kunz at 125, Landon Bailey at 133, Chase Short at 174 and Steeler French at 184.
