Havre speech squeaks out victory in home tournament

Despite fielding a miniscule team due to conflicting events and activities, the Havre High School speech and debate team was able to squeak out with a victory in its home tournament Saturday.

The Blue Ponies competed against nine other schools that came to Havre Saturday in the first tournament this season.

Havre fielded only three entries, but due to their high performance, still was able to edge out the only other Class A school at the tournament, Browning, for a first-place team finish.
