Lana was born November 18, 1970, in Havre to Rex and Kristine (Weyh) Dramstad. She was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 1989, where she was a member of the speech and debate team and where she expressed her love of and natural talent for music by playing the piano, flute, saxophone, and trombone.

Soon after, she began her post-secondary education at Northern Montana College, majoring in business, education, and microbiology. Lana also attended an online certification program, and she obtained her certificate in medical transcription. In 2001, she married Bud Robinson, and they had a son, Bryson. They later divorced, and Lana and Jon Stimson began a relationship in 2003 which lasted until her passing. They, too, had a son, Ethan.

Lana was a giving woman who simply loved to help anyone who needed it. She treasured the time she spent with her sons, whether fishing in their favorite spot, playing cards especially Crazy 8s, or laughing at their silly jokes. Her boys and her grandchildren were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rex Dramstad, in 2013. Lana is survived by her mother, Kristine Dramstad of Havre; sons, Bryson Robinson and Ethan Stimson, both of Havre; long-time significant other, Jon Stimson of Havre; stepchildren Nikki Stimson of Havre, Lance Stimson of Kalispell, and Brandy and Colter Stimson, both of Havre; three grandchildren, and several cousins.
