MISSOULA — The Montana Grizzlies and Montana State Bobcats both needed a win Saturday to stay in the playoff hunt and keep the upcoming Brawl of the Wild about more than pride. Neither one got the win they needed, though.

For 30 minutes in Missoula Saturday, Montana showed its potential against No. 6 ranked and league-leading UC Davis, out-gaining the Aggies 292 to 113 and going into the locker room with a 21-3 lead.

Coming out of the locker room, it was a different story.

UC Davis scored 46 unanswered points, and through the first 22 minutes of the second half out-gained Montana 316...
