Northern starts fast, but can't hold off Southern Oregon

For the second time in three weeks, the Montana State University-Northern football team got off to a fast start. But on the road, against Southern Oregon, the Lights were unable to turn that fast start into a victory, as MSU-N dropped its ninth-straight game 37-21.

While the Lights didn’t win, it was certainly an improvement over their previous performances on the road and following the 16-point loss, MSU-N head coach Andrew Rolin said he was encouraged by what he saw.
