Snow falling in the state, along the Hi-Line

Havre and the Hi-Line joined the Bear Paw Mountains and areas south with snow accumulating on the ground this morning, although the forecast did not predict much of an accumulation in the northern part of the Golden Triangle.

Parts of the state south and west of this region are in a winter weather advisory through this afternoon.

A National Weather Service map on its Great Falls website this morning showed snow from Cut Bank through much of the Missouri Breaks including south to Great Falls and another system along the Canadian border from the Sweetgrass Hills to Havre and Chinook. Yet another...
