CWD restricted zone expanded to all of Liberty County

After another deer tested positive for chronic wasting disease in Liberty County, this time in the southern part of the county, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks has designated all of Liberty County a CWD-positive area.

Hunters who harvest deer, elk or moose within the county cannot move brain or spinal column tissue outside the Transport Restriction Zone which now includes Liberty, Hill and Toole counties.
