What if you didn’t get your new Medicare Card? your new Medicare card should have arrived in the mail by now. If you didn’t get it, here’s what to do:

1. Remember that your new Medicare card will come in a plain white envelope from the Department of Health and Human Services.

2. If the card didn’t arrive, call us at 1-800-MEDICARE. Our call center representatives can check the status and help you get your new card.

In the meantime, use your current Medicare card to get health care services.

Medicare Open Enrollment runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. Those with Medicare should take the opportunity to review their healthcare needs for the upcoming year and determine if changes to their current coverage are necessary. Plan costs change each year, so everyone with a Medicare health or drug plan should check to make sure their plan still meets their health needs and budget. By shopping available plans and comparing costs, beneficiaries may be able to find a Medicare health or drug plan with better coverage or a lower premium in 2019.

Is there someone special you are shopping for? Remember the Senior Centers Gift Shop. Find some up-to-the-minute gifts along with some fun antiques. Also we can provide “A Gift for you” certificate for however many meals you want to present to your special someone. A two week ticket is $40 and a month is $80. It comes with a printed certificate. A punch ticket will be issued when the certificate is presented at our center.
