Hill County Sheriff's Office
Havre Police Department called Tuesday at 9:43 p.m. Tuesday to ask for assistance finding a vehicle that was involved in a hit-and-run crash. The vehicle, with license plate BSD123, was last seen southbound on Fifth Avenue and turning onto 16th Street.

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday.
Havre Animal Shelter
The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats and one long-hair cat all of unknown gender, two short-hair female cats, one medium-hair male cat and one long-hair female cat, along with 12 feral cats for its spay/neuter and release program.
The Havre shelter this morning also held a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-border collie dog, a male Labrador retriever-hound 21-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed dog, a female mixed-breed 6-month-old puppy, a male German shepherd 26-week-old puppy, a male mixed-breed 26-week-old puppy, a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy, a male Labrador retriever-border collie 6-month-old puppy and a female mixed-breed dog.
