From the Courts: State District Court - Kmart embezzler resentenced to probation for violating conditions

A state District Judge revoked a deferred imposition of sentence and resentenced a man who pleaded guilty to embezzling thousands of dollars from a local store to three years probation.

James Christopher Dahl Jr. pleaded guilty in 2017 to stealing $9,000 from the Havre Kmart while working as a supervisor. A company representative said he had been taking money from the safe while working as a night-time supervisor, with the total amount stolen estimated to be as high as $16,000.
