From the Courts: State District Court - Treatment recommended for man sentenced to three years

A state district judge recommended Casey O. Mummey be placed in a treatment program when he sentenced Mummey to three years for violating conditions of his release for failing to register as a violent offender in 2015.

Judge Jon Oldenburg of Lewistown said Mummey has been in the system for 16 years, with all offenses likely drug-related, and while he wanted to put Mummey in a treatment program community-based treatment has not worked previously.
