Local News - Havre Ballers set Pizza Hut fundraiser

Fifth-grade traveling girls basketball team Havre Ballers is having a fundraiser at Pizza Hut Thursday.

Funds will go to help pay for the team’s traveling expenses.

The team, which is looking at participating in tournaments into April, had its first tournament in December in Helena. It took second last weekend at a tournament in Great Falls.

Thursday, when people say they are contributing to the Havre Ballers when paying for dine-in or carry-out orders at Pizza Hut, the restaurant will donate 20 percent of the purchase price to the team’s fundraiser.
