Havre Police Department

A caller on First Street West reported Tuesday at 8:23 a.m. finding a dead owl on the highway and dispatch referred he call to another agency.

An officer initiated investigation of undisclosed complaints at the police station at 12:42 and 12:45 p.m. Tuesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Tuesday at 12:26 p.m. she had lost her purse.

Theft of business property was reported Tuesday at 1:27 p.m. from a 34th Avenue West business.

--

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported from County Road 802 Southeast at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday.

Firefighters were called to the 600 Block of Seventh Avenue for a gas smell, but the home owner met the dispatched unit on arrival and said someone had turned on the stove.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats and two long-hair 26-week-old kittens of unknown gender, four medium-hair male cats and one long-hair female cat.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a male American bulldog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a female Labrador retriever dog, a female Anatolian shepherd/husky 9-month-old puppy and a male pit bull-Labrador 9-month-old puppy.
