Out Our Way: The Tiger Ridge sermon

Out our way, folks sometimes drive down U.S. Highway 2 along the Hi-Line and remark “There’s nothing much to see.” I have had visitors make that statement to me as they pass through, but I just smile, for some of the most spectacular scenery anywhere is just a mile or two north and south of the highway. Oh, I will grant you Glacier National Park boasts of some of the most magnificent sights you can find anywhere — the “Swiss Alps with grizzly bears” — but for me it doesn’t get much better than the Tiger Ridge country where Charlie and I rode fence and checked cows.
