Obituary - Carmelita "Connie" Marie Lang

Carmelita “Connie” Marie Lang of Great Falls, 75, a devoted Catholic, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019.

She was born on Dec. 28, 1944, in Fort Belknap, the daughter of Tommy Jo Mount and Cecelia Martin-The Boy.

Connie lived in Havre and then moved to Seattle, where she spent a good part of her life and made many dear friends. But, as we all know, home calls and she moved to Great Falls to be closer to family. Connie loved to laugh, and her laugh was very contagious. She loved playing Bingo, going to bargain centers and getting a good deal, and, as all the family knows, she loved to cook her frybread. One thing she loved most was spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Richard Eagle Hall, Michael Whitewolf Hall, Steven Sayre Hall, Robert Joseph Hall, and Aeoma Catherine Hall and Dianna Holland; sister Dorthy Stout, and brother Tommy Mount. She also had many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Jo Mount; mother, Cecelia Martin-The Boy; husband, Frankie Lang; brothers Harold, Bernard, and Joseph Martin and Ronald and Theodore The Boy; and sisters Alta Martin-Stuker and Thelma Ann Martin.

Connie’s wake will begin at 3:00 p.m. today, Friday, January 11, 2019, and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 12, 2019, all at the St. Paul Mission Rec Center. Burial will follow on Martin Hill.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
