A caller at an 11th Street West business asked to speak with an officer at 9:22 a.m. Friday.

A caller at a Montana State University-Northern residence hall reported a head-on crash between two vehicles Friday at 9:55 a.m.

--

A hit-and-run vehicle crash was reported at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 12:26 p.m. Friday.

--

A hit-and-run vehicle crash was reported on First Avenue Friday at 3:35 p.m.

--

A motor vehicle crash was reported on Ninth Street Friday at 4:41 p.m.

Geno Valdez Menard of Havre, 21, was issued a summon on a charge of criminal contempt at the police station Friday at 7:08 p.m. in relation to a drug patch violation.

David Larry Sanchez Jr. of Harlem, 33, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on two Justice or City court warrants during a vehicle stop Friday at 7:54 p.m. on Fifth Avenue West, that was prompted by a suspicious activity report from a Blaine County official on First Street West at 7:47 p.m. Friday.

A caller at an 11th Street West business reported Friday at 10:19 p.m. a woman stole a phone charger.

A gray Chevrolet pickup truck was reported stolen Saturday at 1:49 a.m. on Second Avenue.

A purse was reported stolen at a First Street business at 9:27 a.m. Saturday.

--

A gas drive-off was reported from an 11th Street West business Saturday at 4:43 p.m.

Verlas Reylynne Chiefstick of Box Elder, 59, was arrested on charges of probation violation, disorderly conduct and theft of labor or services after a Havre business caller asked for assistance with a woman Saturday at 5:19 p.m.

Avery Jordan Boe of Hays, 34, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a First Street business reported a man was passed out on a bench Sunday at 7:06 a.m.

--

Montana Department of Transportation reported Sunday at 12:03 p.m. that a vehicle had run into one of their gates.

--

Officers assisted with an ambulance call on Second Avenue Sunday at 12:28 p.m.

--

A Second Street caller reported Sunday at 12:57 p.m. finding needles in her backyard.

--

Officers assisted a Seventh Avenue caller Sunday at 1:04 p.m. with retrieving some property from another person.

Matthew Michael Converse of Havre, 41, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license during a vehicle stop Sunday at 1:06 p.m. on 13th Street.

Alan Patrick Romero of Havre, 57, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served on Second Street Sunday at 3:04 p.m.

--

An officer-initiated vehicle stop on Second Avenue Sunday at 3:23 p.m. prompted an investigation, but no arrest was made.

--

Courtney Storm Oelke of Havre, 23, was arrested on a charge of false reports to law enforcement, after she called in a noise complaint on 16th Street West at 2:25 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Jason Stewart of Havre, 41, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a Justice or City court warrant at Hill County Detention Center Friday at 2:19 p.m.

Alesia Joyce Cantrell of Box Elder, 28, was issued a summons on a shoplifting charge after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a shoplifter Friday at 6:51 p.m.

David Larry Sanchez Jr. of Harlem, 33, was arrested on a possession of dangerous drugs charge on intake at the detention center Friday at 10:15 p.m.

--

Sally Jo Miller of Havre, 70, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at the detention center after Miller stopped there at 4:20 p.m. to visit someone.

--

Emory Jay Lamere of Box Elder, 39, was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop in Box Elder Sunday at 1:30 a.m.

--

Matthew Michael Converse of Havre, 41, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia upon intake at the detention center Sunday at 1:35 p.m.

Montana Highway Patrol

A single-vehicle crash was reported to the Montana Highway Patrol Sunday at 3:23 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 West near the former Havre Kmart. The vehicle has driven off the road and crashed into a light pole, minor injuries were reported.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Friday, one call Saturday, six calls Sunday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters were called to the 10 Block of Third Avenue for a stove-top grease fire Friday at 11:44 a.m., but the fire was extinguished before HFD's arrival.

Havre Animal Shelter

The Havre shelter this morning held two medium-hair cats, one long-hair 8-month-old kitten and two long-hair 26-week-old kittens of unknown gender and six medium-hair male cats.

The Havre shelter this morning also held a male American bulldog, three female mixed-breed dogs, a female Labrador retriever dog, a female Anatolian shepherd/husky 10-month-old puppy and a male pit bull-Labrador 9-month-old puppy.

Births

A girl was born Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019, to Tonya S. and Walter Buckland of Havre.
