Isaac Bartel wins Missouri Valley Invite title for the Lights

In their last tournament before the postseason, the Montana State University-Northern Lights were a bit short-handed. But that didn’t stop them from finding success either.

The third-ranked Lights were part of the prestigious Missouri Valley Invitational this weekend in Marshall, Missouri, and though the Lights were missing key grapplers like top-ranked Matt Weber, second-ranked Chris Nile and 133-pound standout Landon Bailey, they still scored 89 points and finished 10th in a field that was loaded with top NAIA teams and individuals.
