Police looking for owner of found money

The Havre Police Department announced Wednesday it is looking for the owner of some money turned in to the department.

A release from the department said that Feb. 5, a person turned in to the department some money the person had found.

“The Havre Police Department would like to restore the money to its rightful owner,” the release said.

It said the department will release the money to the person who can verify that they are its owner.
