Commissioners approve new Fair Board member

The Hill County Commissioners had their weekly meeting at Hill County Courthouse Thursday morning and voted to approve a new member to the Great Northern Fair Board.

Sean Bickford will be replacing Scott Doney who announced in December that he would be stepping down from the board. Doney had spent the previous five years on the Great Norther Fair Board but said he wanted to spend more time with his family.

“I’m pleased to see two people come forward and apply for this position,” Hill County Commissioner Diane McLean said.

Bickford’s appointment was approved unanimously by the commissioners.
