Lights shoot for three in a row tonight

The Lights are looking for their third straight conference win, as well as a third win this season against Tech, when they host the Orediggers tonight at 8 in the Armory Gymnasium.

The Armory Gymnasium has been a friendly place to the Montana State University-Northern men’s basketball team as of late.

In their last two home games, the Lights have slayed Top 25 Frontier Conference rivals Carroll College and the University of Providence, and Northern has done it by shooting better than 50 percent from the 3-point-line.

Tonight, the Lights (7-6, 15-10) hope that trend continues, too, as they close out their four-game homestand against the Montana Tech Orediggers (5-7, 15-9) at 8 inside the Armory.

And while Tech isn’t ranked in the Top 25, the Orediggers are a tea...
