The Havre High boys swim team celebrates on the podium after capturing a share of the Class A state title at Saturday's state meet in Bozeman.

For the first time in 12 years, the Class A state swimming championship in boys is coming to the Havre High trophy case. Saturday, at the Montana State Swimming Championships in Bozeman, the Blue Ponies scored 63 points to tie Billings Central for the A-B state championship.

The Ponies, of head coach Bill Kilgore, were led by their 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay teams, which were both tops in the finals for Class A-B teams, as well as individual medals from Sergio Tamayo, Jacob Miller, Paxtin McCann, Christian Mathis, Ammon Lines, Hiram Cammon, and strong efforts from John Klein, Logan...
