Theft ring in the area totaling seven arrests so far

In the past month, seven people have been arrested relating to the burglaries of the local John Deere dealership, E-1 Towing and numerous other thefts in the area.

Friday, a 17-year-old who deputies were searching for in relation to a string of burglaries and thefts was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

He is being held in Cascade County Juvenile Detention Center and is a suspect in the John Deere dealership burglary in addition to a number of other burglaries and thefts.

Deputies also arrested Clayton Boyd Strike of Dodson, 19, on a Justice or City court warrant. Strike was in the Hill County jail Friday morning but was not listed on its roster this morning.

Hill County Sheriff Jamie Ross said Friday that his office received a report Thursday at 8:52 p.m. that two people, later identified as the juvenile and Strike, were trying to get into a home on Bullhook Road. He said that, after investigation, deputies determined that Strike and the juvenile were not attempting a burglary but were trying to find shelter from the cold after being abandoned in the area.

This morning Strike was no longer being held in the detention center. Ross said Strike is not a suspect in the burglaries but the 17-year-old still is considered a suspect.

Ross said Friday that Kate Alanna Lambourne of Havre, 19, was arrested Jan. 31 after deputies responded to a suspicious activity report Jan. 31 at 11:29 a.m. of a woman on Bullhook Road walking around barefooted, and she is a suspect in relation to the theft and burglary cases.

She was initially being held on charges of theft, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. Last Monday, deputies added charges of criminal mischief, tampering with evidence and obstruction of a peace officer or other public servant. She was later charged with trespass to vehicle.

Lambourne was being held Hill County Detention Center this morning on bonds totaling $55,000.

Ross said the investigation is still ongoing and more arrests are expected.

Fabian Joel “Ju Ju” Saddler Jr., who was the first arrested, Jan. 29, in relation to the burglaries, was in the detention center this morning being held on $10,000 bond on pending felony charges of burglary, two counts of felony theft, criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of burglary tools, misdemeanor and criminal trespassing in addition to a charge of civil contempt.

He was arrested while law enforcement were searching a residence of a woman — who was later arrested — known to be a burglary suspect.

The arrest was while investigating Jan. 29 calls reporting a burglary and theft at Frontline Ag Solutions, a John Deere dealership east of Havre, and E-1 Towing.

Saddler was found in the residence, along with more items believed to be stolen both in the residence and in a parked vehicle and the vehicle Saddler was in.

Jan. 30, Darrell Gardipee III, who is known to associate with the suspects in the incidents and is a suspect himself, was arrested on suspicion of traffic offenses. Deputies decided at the time of his arrest not to charge him in relation to the Frontline Ag and E-1 burglaries. He was being held in the Hill County Detention Center this morning on $21,500 total bond on charges of driving under the influence second offense, driving with a suspended license, felony charge of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, obstruction of a peace officer or other public servant and two counts of violation of conditions of release from District Court.

During a search of the residence on the 100 Block of 15th Avenue, items reported stolen were found in the room where the juvenile suspect stayed and items also were found in the room of Gloria and Caroline Crazyboy.

During an attempt by law enforcement Jan. 5 to locate the 17-year-old, who also resides in that residence, Gloria, Caroline and Leslie Crazyboy, who also lives in the residence, were arrested on the basis that stolen property or evidence was found in every room in the house and the deputy found it impossible for occupants not to know about the thefts and property.

This morning, Hill County Detention Center was holding Leslie and Gloria Crazyboy on pending felony theft charges with a bond of $5,000 each. Caroline Crazyboy was not listed in the detention center roster.
