February 15, 2019

Kylynn Jarman

Kylynn Jarman, a junior, has been named by Havre High School as one of its students of the month for January 2019.

The daughter of Elena Jarman, Kylynn, has two siblings, Jordan, 17, and Angela, 20.

Kylynn is a member of the Havre High Key Club, while outside of the classroom she works at Dairy Queen. Her interests include walking her dog, movie nights and listening to jams in the car with friends.

Kylynn was nominated by Diane Coy because she is "amazing in so many ways." Coy added, Kylynn "brings her A-game in everything she does, academic and otherwise."

Kylynn plans on going to college to become a physical therapist or go into sports therapy.

Aarron Thompson, a senior, is Havre High's other January student of the month.

Aaron Thompson

The son of Jennifer and Cody Thompson, Aarron is heavily involved in Havre High extracurricular activities, including theater, pep band, Anime Club, Art Club, M.B.I., Highlighters and, last but not least, the Men's Ensemble of Awesomeness.

Outside of school, Aarron is additionally involved in gaming, YouTube-ing, hanging out with friends and working at WalMart. His hobbies include music - specifically singing and drumming - and making memes.

Aarron was nominated by Mandy Nitz because "he is kind, conscientious and willing to participate in class."

Nitz added, Aarron "adapts well to different classroom environments, maintaining his excellent work ethic and friendly demeanor."

After graduation, Aarron plans to spend one year working, and then hopes to go to Carroll College where he will double major in computer science/fine arts with a minor in secondary education.
