Turner girls rally to beat North Star, earn a return trip to the Northern C

When it comes to the District 9C girls basketball tournament, the Turner Tornadoes have a flair for the dramatic and against North Star last Friday in the consolation game, they proved it once again.
Last season, the Tornadoes ended a lengthy drought of not getting to divisionals by completing a double-digit comeback over Chester-Joplin-Inverness and in another do-or-die game, the Tornadoes rallied from nine points down, thanks in large part of a pair of 3-pointers by Rylee Conlan, to win 45-34. The victory clinched a spot in the Northern C for Turner for the second year in a row.
