Final Armory nights for the Lights

Northern hopes to honor seniors, earn a home playoff game with wins over LC State and Western

Montana State University-Northern seniors Justin Dunsmore, left, and Caulin Bakalarski will play their final regular season home game of their Northern careers Saturday when the Lights host the Montana Western Bulldogs. First up, though, the Lights battle nationally ranked Lewis-Clark State tonight in the Armory Gymnasium. Both games tip off at 8 p.m.

Frontier Conference men's basketball is incredibly hard. It seems like every night is a street brawl in the Frontier, and the Montana State University-Northern Lights are gearing up for two last brawls inside the Armory Gymnasium.

Northern (8-8, 16-12) is back home to close out the regular season against No. 13 Lewis-Clark State tonight and Montana Western Saturday night. And both games will be huge for the Lights, who still have a chance to finish in the top four of the Frontier, which would earn them a home game in next week's league playoffs.
