Skylights aiming to keep their season alive at Rocky Mountain

Northern takes on nationally ranked RMC in Frontier women's quarterfinal tonight in Billings

Northern is on the road tonight to face Rocky Mountain College in the quarterfinals of the 2019 Frontier Conference Women's Playoffs. The winner will advance to Friday night's semifinal. The Frontier tourney runs through Monday night's championship game, with the winner receiving an automatic berth to the NAIA national tournament next month in Billings.

In Frontier Conference play this season, the Montana State University-Northern Skylights have played 15 games against teams in the NAIA Top 25. And if the Skylights want to advance their season, they’ll have to beat a Top 25 team tonight to do it.

Northern (13-17) heads to Billings tonight to battle No. 24 Rocky Mountain College (19-11) in the first round of the 2019 Frontier Conference Women’s Playoffs. And for the Skylights, who are 0-3 against the Battlin’ Bears this season, it’s win or go home.
